John Wesley Foster

 

John Wesley, age 9, collapsed in cardiac arrest while playing football with his father in his grandparents’ front yard. His father administered CPR, and EMTs shocked his heart on the scene, then again several times at the hospital. John Wesley was active in many sports, including football, baseball and soccer. He never had any signs or symptoms of heart problems.
